Finn Nyawo Wilkinson is a writer, filmmaker, and artist based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is dedicated to developing, writing, and sharing compelling, diverse, and underrepresented stories through filmmaking. Finn is currently a third-year Cinema and Television Arts major at Elon University, minoring in Creative Writing, and graduating early in December of 2026.​​

Finn currently works as an executive producer for the Elon Student Television Organization (ESTV) on her original unscripted competition series, For A. She has previously worked for Susie Films in 2025 as a pre/post-production and development intern, where she assisted on the production of the PBS original show, Fork & Hammer, and developed/pitched an original horror series for a local network to fulfill their request for genre specific programming. She also worked at Elevation Film in 2024 as a video production/content creation intern, where she assisted in writing, developing, and editing digital video content for children, teenagers, and young adults, and helped design and construct various sets with their production design team.​

Finn is the recipient of the James Michael Elzar Foreman Endowment, presented to the most promising senior communications major working in television production at Elon University. She is an award-winning writer for screen, stage, and literature; as a two-time winner of the Frederick Hartmann Contest, and work recognized by the Cinelon 48 Hour Film Fest, Ardrey Kell Playwriting Showcase, and Primavera Poetry Competition. She currently serves as the Nonfiction Section Editor for Elon's literary and art journal, Colonnades.
